Today on the podcast, I am contemplating love, loss, and an act of healing.
My guest today, Joe DiNardo, CEO, director and founder of Counsel Financial, and author of A Letter to my Wife shares his experience with the painful loss of his wife as she fought her battle with cancer. Joe digs into how writing this very special heartfelt letter was the critical inch moving forward in his healing process, and how meditation helped him reach new peaks of love for his late wife.
Don’t we all wish to know how we’d strive for a love that continues to grow and change, even in the face of tragedy?
Love and loss are immensely powerful concepts on two different ends of the spectrum. What’s incredible, and heart wrenching, is that only when we lose someone we love are we able to see how one informs the other. Without love, loss wouldn’t break our hearts so badly, and without loss, the true depths of love that we feel may remain unknown. It is in the excruciating exploration of this relationship where healing can be found.
