Just Breathe and Listen Up
We all do it sometimes. It can be an innocent moment—it usually is—when you have a lapse of consciousness—as someone else is talking to you. Whether it be not paying attention to the clerk at the store, or when your kids are chatting about their day, or even when you mindlessly glance down at your phone while someone is talking. I know it’s hard when I notice mid-sentence that someone else isn’t listening to me—it can be frustrating and we all struggle with it.
Here’s a short reminder of how not to sweat it—when you fall on deaf ears. (Just want to say, my Mom is generally a really good listener, and I love her a lot!)
