Guest: Mark Teitelbaum & Maura Dunbar

Mark Teitelbaum: In his role as a producer, Mark developed Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright Tracy Letts’ (August: Osage County) play Superior Donuts as a half-hour comedy starring Judd Hirsch and Katey Sagal that ran for two seasons on CBS; combined multiple award-winning writer David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) with the incomparable Robin Williams to produce the highly acclaimed half-hour comedy, The Crazy Ones; and recently worked as executive producer on Lifetime TV’s new movie, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story.

Previously as an agent at the William Norris Agency, Mark played an instrumental role in the careers of some of acting’s most legendary names, including Denzel Washington, Christopher Reeve, Garry Shandling, Jack Lemmon, Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith, and many others.

Mark is involved in his industry, having twice sat on the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Awards Committee.

Maura Dunbar: President & CEO of Engage Entertainment (TM), Maura Dunbar has over 30 years of extensive television programming experience as a senior level broadcast/cable executive, a creator and producer of original programming, and a highly successful media consultant.

Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development for the Hallmark Channel, where she launched the channel’s franchise of original two-hour movies. Prior to that, as Vice President of mini-series and special projects for ABC, Maura distinguished herself for her ability to develop and produce content that achieved both ratings and critical success as well as garnering numerous Emmy nominations and awards, such as Stephen King’s The Stand, The Shining, Me and My Shadow: The Judy Garland Story (with Judy Davis), and Rear Window (starring Christopher Reeves).

Most recently, Maura Dunbar was an executive producer of the new Lifetime TV movie, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story. Maura is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America.
