Impeccable Self-Care: Episode 256 brought to you by The Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff, Live the Big Stuff Podcast
Many of us are struggling to prioritize ourselves right now. We’re giving so much to our jobs, our families, and everyone else in our lives, that there’s hardly time for anything… let alone another new wellness ritual!
As we are conditioned to focus our energy into the world around us, it can feel unnatural to pour our love and light inwards.
However, it’s only when we care for ourselves with a supreme self-care practice that we can show up in the world at our best.
So how do we practice the art of impeccable self-care? Especially when life is busy and there’s just not room for one more thing?
In today’s episode, you’ll learn:
- Why self-care is SO much more than mud masks!
- The importance of practicing supreme self-care
- Simple self-care habits you can implement on a daily basis
- All about Kristine Carlson’s Supreme Self-Care 2021 Challenge
When we nurture and care for ourselves the way we need to, we become fully whole and can really wake up to our most vibrant lives yet. And perhaps even more importantly, we can then finally begin to show up in the world and for our loved ones the way we want to.

Hi Kris, so good to hear your podcast again after a few very hectic months here! I have a lot of catching up to do, for sure, but I’ll be gentle with myself and ease into it. My dad is recovering well after a very scary health episode a few months ago, and I have added this positive element to my daily gratitude thoughts. The body definitely responds to uncontrolled stress, and for me it is tinnitus. It is my wake-up call to turn up the self-care. Even if I tell myself that I am not stressed, my ears/brain tell me otherwise. I have learned to exert some control over it, and I don’t freak out anymore when it is bad at times. I know from experience that eventually it will fade into the background when I manage to relax. Thanks for your support, as always! I also teamed up with a local friend to keep me on my toes with regard to exercise, intuitive eating and work planning, and she is a nice person to help me with accountability – all good! Looking forward to seeing you again online or IRL at a retreat! Much love from Nashville! <3
