As I’ve talked about on the blog previously, snowball thinking is when we roll a thought around in our minds so much that it grows and grows and grows.

Positive snowball thinking can be beautiful. Negative snowball thinking can be very dangerous, and that’s what I’d like to explore with you on the podcast today.

Negative snowball thinking quickly becomes the roadblock to our success, to a dream, to deeper intimacy in a relationship, even to our happiness.

Studies show that without intervention 50% of our thoughts are negative, and 80% of those thoughts are repetitive. That means so much of what fills our heads is negative, repetitive thinking.

But here’s a secret: We have control over what fills our heads.

Over the years, I’ve learned the practice of stopping those negative thought patterns. It’s been essential to my energy staying positive and to my success.
