Nurture Your Spirit in Nature
Technology makes our lives a lot easier and a lot more efficient, but what happens when our minds get too engrossed with the hustle and never-ending buzz of all of it?
Sometimes I wake up in the morning and realize I was dreaming about cleaning out my closets or posting things on Facebook. (That’s when I know I need to spend some time in nature!)
There is something so profound about taking in the grand and glorious scenery of the trees and sky–allowing our minds, body, and spirit to breathe in the nurturing power of nature and exhale to let go of the exhaustion and tension of our daily lives.
In today’s podcast episode, we’ll talk about the importance of spending time in nature and how our quest to find our most vibrant lives can be highly impacted by finding the time and space to breathe.
This August and September I’ll be a part of an amazing outdoor weekend for women called the . This retreat, sponsored by REI, is exactly the kind of weekend I need. It’s a weekend outdoors–hiking, rock climbing, paddle boarding and more. I cannot wait for this chance to commune with other women and spend some nurturing my spirit in nature.
I’ll be leading workshops and meditations at the following weekends:
August 19-21, 2016 in Kirkwood, California
September 9-11, 2016 in Powder Mountain, Utah
Will you join me?
Take some time to breathe. Take some time to nurture your spirit. Your mind, body, and soul will rejoice with gratitude as it finds peace and rest through the beauty of nature.
