Standing Up With Courage
On today’s podcast, we’re talking about courage. Sometimes it takes courage to even talk about courage, doesn’t it?
Since losing Richard in 2006, I’ve had to embrace bravery like never before. There are raw, battle-tested, beautiful lessons to be learned in leading my family without my husband, in stepping up as captain of the ship.
And more recently, there has been a terrorizing stalker experience that found closure. It was an experience that once again showed me what courage looks like, causing me to reach into the depths of my heart and find the strength and tenacity to stand up and protect my family with great confidence. Even on the hardest days, this terror brought beauty. It showed me how capable I am–and how to be assertive, tuned into my heart, and forgiving all at the same time.
We can be brave and kind and keep our hearts open, even in the face of pain and fear.
The lessons I’ve learned can be yours too. So, let’s talk about courage. Will you join me?
