What Now? Series: Becoming Herself – With Lauren Rae

This week Kristine Carlson invites Lauren Ray to share her extraordinary story of becoming.

Lauren reflects on her childhood wounds and fierce drive for perfection, ultimately leading to a successful career in veterinary neurosurgery. When faced with the loss of her husband Mark, Lauren’s life took a dramatic turn, prompting deep emotional healing and a search for purpose beyond achievement.

You’ll learn how Lauren used plant medicine as a powerful tool to break through emotional barriers and reconnect with her heart. Her journey led to the creation of Blue Fox Farm, a healing sanctuary for people and animals alike, and the inspiration for her memoir, “From Haute Couture to Haute Couture.” Kristine and Lauren discuss how letting go of material attachments and old identities can create space for presence, gratitude, and authentic joy.

If you’re navigating your own “What Now” moment or seeking encouragement for transformation, this episode will remind you that renewal is possible, and that our deepest challenges can become the seedbed of our greatest growth.
