A Testimonial Tribute: Adopt a Child Through the Mail With Ron Carter
Today on the podcast, I am speaking with Ron Carter of Children Incorporated about the power of one. Ron has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Children Incorporated since April of 2012. Ron started working for Children Incorporated in February of 2003, and prior to his appointment as President of the organization, he held two other positions there, Assistant Director of US Programs and Director of the Inner City Division.Together, Ron and I will discuss the impact of one chapter in Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff called, Adopt a Child Through the Mail.
I can hardly believe it myself.
In this chapter, Richard mentioned his favorite organization: Children Incorporated. This one mention resulted in thousands of sponsorships and donations over the years. I am thrilled to bring you my conversation with Ron about the impact Don’t Sweat has had on this incredible organization. And we just can’t wait to do more.
In celebration of 20 years of Don’t Sweat, we are aiming to achieve 2000 sponsorships for Children Incorporated in our 20th year, and you can help! Sponsor a child for just $28/month and the Richard Carlson Memorial fund will match the first $5K in sponsorship donations. You can call Children Incorporated at 1(800)538-5381 and visit www.childrenincorporated.org to find out more about this wonderful program that assists children monthly by helping impoverished families fulfill their child’s basic needs of food, clothing, and medical expenses.
Will you join me on the podcast for an inside look at this awesome relationship?
