Our Growth is Never Done

While I don’t live by my chart, I schedule a yearly numerology and astrology reading. Curious, I love seeing what is projected for the coming year. I find it fascinating that I’m always in sync with what’s energetically in the stars.  My numerology reading with Michele Landers shows I am entering a year of feminine stillness (which I feel is true for me now) and a Vedic astrology reading indicated I would be entering a cave time of rooting down; seems like some serious inner growth will be happening.

It was not surprising that I entered my Rahu moon in Sagittarius. I had already been feeling the energy of Rahu’s moon. I am in my last two years of an eighteen-year period of Rahu—that’s a cycle where your chart shows many life lessons happening.

Most people think of life lesson times as being tough—and well, I won’t argue with that.  Life lessons generally don’t come easy for any of us.  But let’s face it, when you make it through a life lesson, it means you’ve had an incredible opportunity for growth.  Spiritual growth is not for the faint of heart.

Life lessons are the stuff books and blogs are made from.  In some ways, I’ve had such a long period of life lessons, it kinda terrifies me to think of what life might be like when this period is over.  I have discovered that I’m a spiritual warrior and this time has shaped me in such beautiful ways.

Although it hasn’t always been easy, it’s been rich with learning and that’s why my soul came to earth.  My deepest desire is to learn and to grow and help others do the same as they move through the tough stuff and return to living into their joy.

Surrendering and being open to the divine plan has allowed me to offer myself as an instrument to turn these life lessons into wisdom.  Grace has been present for me every step of the way because my heart is open and I long to be a better person. I have known that I am loved and supported throughout my journey— I am divinely guided.

Change and Growth is Powerful; I’ve Seen Firsthand

The last few years have been far easier than the period when I was dealing with a stalker harassing my family for seven years while also healing from loss.  Phew—glad those fireworks are done.  As this new astrologer was looking through my eighteen-year Rahu cycle he confirmed that my chart showed an unusually high-intensity Rahu period and that the Moon in Sagittarius is about to do another deep upcoming dive.  I’ll admit my inner child initially screamed a little and said, Uh-oh, that’s not fun!

Now, I see this time as an opportunity to use this last two years of Rahu knowing where my chart is energetically supporting me to root down and invite a spiral of growth of deeper transformation that can transport me to live at an even higher frequency.

Change is powerful, and I’ve seen firsthand the two paths we can take.  The first is to invite change—the second is to resist it.  I’ve done both; but now wiser, I know the path to joy is to open my heart and scream to the moon, “I’m here now fully awake and alive—bring it on!”

Let my lessons tumble me some more to polish me bright and brilliant like a stone so I can authentically be who I am and express what is revealed from my soul.  I am here to be a change-maker and share what I learn to light a path through the shadow of fear that can turn any transition from terrifying to wonder—from shadow to light.

Change doesn’t have to bring pain.  Resistance to change will always create suffering.  Opening to change can bring bliss.  Let’s open—shall we?

In a wonderful opportunity to open, I was recently invited, along with my good friend Alexa Fischer who is co-hosting a retreat with me in March of 2025, to join a group of other retreat leaders where we all had booked a retreat at a wonderful location in Costa Rica.

We received the retreat as a bonus to help us understand the powerful transformation that the container of this center and land would provide for our participants.  One of the leaders after morning yoga invited us to stay and receive an activation breathwork session.  My whole body screamed, Yes!  I hadn’t done any breathwork for many years—although I have done a lot of it in the past.

Resistance to Change Always Creates Suffering

As is the case, my body immediately responded to the breathing.  In just ten deep inhale and exhale breaths I was in.  As I held my breath in queue from our guide, I felt peace in a deep death and rebirth as my pineal gland and third eye became completely lit in cobalt blue.

It was such a gift and it cleared my chakra system. My crown opened.  I was energized and awake.  I felt home.  During this upcoming root down time, I would like to return to practicing more breathwork.  Stay tuned—I’ll keep you in the loop of my personal power growth journey.

Part of my journey is bringing soul sisters together to have a truly magical experience in the spirit of inquiry and adventure.  I’m so excited about sharing this upcoming retreat with you in Costa Rica.  It will be a wonderful experience full of inspiration and deep connection.  I witness women reconnecting with themselves while making lifetime friends.  It’s so beautiful to bring women together in this way.

So it turns out diving deep can actually feel like fun (which I’m one hundred percent motivated by.) I am a seven on the enneagram, after all. 😉

I hope you’ve found the nuggets of gold in this blog post for you—that’s why I share.

Much love as you move through your life lessons—and if you’re in a coasting time—be present for the joy ride!   Weeeee, here we go!

Life presents change—go with it with arms overhead in sweet surrender—it makes the roller coaster ride fun where bracing yourself against the curves can steal the joy that’s right around the corner.

Treasure the gifts of life and love,

Kristine
